Salvation Not by Works
Titus 3:4-7

4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 4 Pero cuando se manifestó la bondad del Salvador nuestro Dios, y su amor para con los hombres
4 ὅτε δὲ ἡ χρηστότης καὶ ἡ φιλανθρωπία ἐπεφάνη τοῦ σωτῆρος ἡμῶν θεοῦ

5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 5 No por obras de justicia que nosotros habíamos hecho, sino por su misericordia, nos salvó por el lavamiento de la regeneración, y de la renovación del Espíritu Santo;
5 οὐκ ἐξ ἔργων τῶν ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ ὧν ἐποιήσαμεν ἡμεῖς ἀλλὰ κατὰ τὸν αὐτοῦ ἔλεον ἔσωσεν ἡμᾶς διὰ λουτροῦ παλιγγενεσίας καὶ ἀνακαινώσεως πνεύματος ἁγίου

6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 6 el cual derramó en nosotros abundantemente por Jesús, el Cristo, nuestro Salvador
6 οὗ ἐξέχεεν ἐφ' ἡμᾶς πλουσίως διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ τοῦ σωτῆρος ἡμῶν

7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. 7 para que, justificados con su gracia, seamos hechos herederos según la esperanza de la vida eterna.
7 ἵνα δικαιωθέντες τῇ ἐκείνου χάριτι κληρονόμοι γενώμεθα κατ' ἐλπίδα ζωῆς αἰωνίου
